» Terai unrest: Incidents of abduction and killing are on in Terai region even after the deployment of special security taskforce. Incidents were reported from Siraha, Rautahat  and Saptari districts.
» Student confrontation: Bloody incidents between ANNFSU (All Nepal National Free Students Union) cadres and Maoist affiliated YCL (Young Communist League) activists in Kavre district. Maoist affilitated student wing ANNISU-R (All Nepal National Independent Students Union-Revolutionary ) urged cadres not to attack anyone.

» PLA combatants: Deputy Commander of the Maoist PLA, Barsha Man Pun aka Ananata, said the Maoists were flexible on the issue of integrationg their combatants in the existing government security forces like the army, police and armed police force (AFP).

» PLA combatants: PM Koirala said that he opposed integrating what he called politicised fighters into Nepal Army. CPN (M) chairman Prachanda has said PM Koirala's statement that the Maoist army cannot be merged into the Nepal Army is not only provocative, but it also runs counter to the comprehensive peace accord (CPA).
» JTMM-Jwala fighters: Police has arrested a leader of Janatantrik Terai Mukti Morcha (JTMM-Jwala Singh). Police also arrested 19 other workers of the JTMM-Jwala Singh faction from other parts of the valley.

» Blast: At least eight people have been injured in a bomb explosion at a rally in the centre of Kathmandu. It is unclear who is behind the attack.
» Labour Camp: A fact finding mission conducted by INSEC Mid-Western Region in Salyan has shown that the Maoists are running labour camp despite signing the Comprehensive Peace Accord.
» Extortion Drive: Locals of southern parts of Jhapa district have been terrorized after receiving letters from Jwala Singh faction of Janatantrik Tarai Mukti Morcha (JTMM-J) demanding money as donation.

» Bombing: OHCHR-Nepal condemns the bombing Friday of a bus in Bara District, which killed at least seven people and injured many others. The incident occurred one year after the start of the Madheshi Andolan, which ended in the deaths of at least 24 people, and on the eve of a series of planned rallies and demonstrations in the Tarai relating to the upcoming Constituent Assembly elections.

» Attacks: Groups of armed men attacked 3 police posts in Khotang district eastern Nepal, looting rifles, pistols and communication equipment and caturing police personne. It is not clear who was behind the attack.
» CA elections: CPN (M)  started a training programme  for party activists to inform them about the party strategy for the Constituent Assembly (CA) elections.
» Terai peace talks: The Janatantric Terai Mukti Morcha (JTMM-G ) is ready  to hold dialogue with the SPA government, JTMM-G leader J. K. Goit said.
»  Extortion: CPN (M)  continue to demand money as donations from bussinessmen and industrialists of Dhankuta district.

» Cooperation: Armed and unarmed Madhesi groups like Madhesi Janadhikar Forum, Madhes Raksha Bahini, Nepal Sadbhavana Party, Janatantrik Terai Mukti Morcha, Terai Mukti Morch and Madhesi Mukti Tigers reached a 23-point agreement of cooperation.
» Violence: Killings, abductions and other criminal activities by politically motivated armed groups have risen markedly in the Terai and other parts of the country since the announcement of the CA elections date.
