Etihad
Airways will start a four flights-a-week service from its Abu Dhabi
home base to the Nepalese capital, Kathmandu, in October 2007.
Kathmandu
will join Etihad's expanding network across the Indian subcontinent which
includes Dhaka, Delhi, Kochi, Thiruvananthapuram, Mumbai, Karachi, Islamabad,
Peshawar and Lahore.

SilkAir is to launch a three-times weekly service between Singapore and Kathmandu
from 30 October 2007. Flights will leave Singapore every Tuesday, Thursday,
and Saturday, at 0910 hours and will arrive in Kathmandu at 1205 hours
(local time). Flights out of Kathmandu will depart at 1305 hours, arriving
in Singapore at 2015 hours (local time). Flights will be operated on SilkAir's
Airbus A320 family aircraft.

Turkish Airlines will initially operate four flights a week on Istanbul-Kathmandu route. It will fly to Kathmandu from its hub in Istanbul on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
The Airbus A330 aircraft of Turkish Airlines will land at Tribhuvan International Airport at 7:15 am. It will leave t for Istanbul at 8:45 am.
Turkish Airlines started scheduled flights to Nepal on September 2, 2013.
